Registered under the coveted "SB-100" (California Senate Bill 100)—that means
no smog certification, no California registration hassles for the life of the car!

Brock Coupe, SPO#006, by Superformance. This consummate driving machine has earned "supercar" status and media attention since its introduction by Peter Brock and Superformance. You'll get breathtaking acceleration—for example, 060 mph (096.5 kph) in less than 4 seconds, 11's in the quarter mile, and a [Bonneville-league] top speed of over 200 mph. This blue beauty exhibits outstanding aerodynamics, superb engineering and construction quality and seductive good looks.

It was (designer, race-car driver and globetrotting photojournalist) Peter Brock who in 1964 designed the streamlined/ aerodynamic coachwork for the original Shelby Daytona Coupe. One of the original six Shelby Cobra Daytonas [CSX2299, piloted by Dan Gurney and Bob Bondurant] won the LeMans 24-hour race [24 Heures du Mans] in 1964; the Cobra team went on to wrest that season's World Manufacturers Championship title and trophy from Ferrari, awarded in February, 1965. Peter himself was fully engaged in the development of the Superformance Coupe nearly 40 years later. He also commissioned the help of Jack Roush [Roush Engineering] and original 427 Cobra designer Bob Negstad to help update the engineering and performance.

Below are the some of the particulars of this Peter Brock–sanctioned drivin' machine:

402R cid/525 horsepower Roush powerplant

engine photo is hotlinked (same view, larger size).

Lurking beneath the tilt-up front-end assembly: a potent 402 cid Roush 'stroker' Windsor powerplant, carbon-fiber engine cooling ducts, MSD ignition ensemble, aluminum radiator with dual electric 'puller' fans, oil cooler and SS braided lines, custom Vintage Air pulleys and air conditioning system.

Tremec T-56 manual 6-speed, Dana limited-slip differential.

The engine and transmission were expertly installed by RDW Automotive in Reno, Nevada.

Tubular spaceframe for maximum structural strength and integrity; fully independent ride-height adjustable front & rear suspension, coil-over progressive shocks, custom Woodward manual rack & pinion steering, enormous 4-wheel vented disc brakes [as befits a 200 mph supercar].

Rolling stock: 18" aluminum alloy cast [genuine/period-correct knockoff] wheels shod with Dunlop street rubber.

Cockpit appointments:

Stewart Warner instrument gauges, black German leather-upholstered seats (w/lumbar support), Alcantara upholstery, retractable 3-point seatbelts and G-Force 5-point racing harnesses, tinted front, side and rear windows, remote door locks, Pioneer stereo/CD sound system (4 speakers).

Oh! And Peter Brock's personal autograph on the glovebox door!

Coupe 006 comes with the following items: side-exiting silver-ceramic–coated sidepipes, steel fuel tank [20 gallon/76 litre]. This car is in near-perfect show condition, has been fully updated and has no issues... get in and drive it! Comes with many extras including "out the rear" pipes, rear hatch and all stock Superformance steering, A/C and related parts.

This Shelby-licensed Coupe has logged less than 4,200 miles (6,800 km); it's the same one used by Dynamic Motorsports for all the shows and magazine feature articles. It's also the car that Superformance selected to use for all the Coupe Owner's Manuals.

It's listed in the Shelby Registry of Coupes and GT40's [4th Edition on pages 442 and 447]. I've invested over $100,000 into this terrific driving machine... but now I need the space in my garage for a new toy.
