GT40 Mk 1
Monza Red
beauty by famed RCR/Race Car Replicas

3/4-frontal shot above is hotlinked [same view, MUCH larger size].

GT40 Mark1 replica. This exquisite beauty was manufactured by Race Car Replicas [of Clinton Township, Michigan]. It's the only replica GT40 with the coachwork mold taken from an original Ford 'Fab Forty,' and with an aluminum monocoque chassis. Three of these cars were used in the Fast and Furious action flicks for action shots and as camera vehicles.

It's finished in a magnificent waterborne Monza Red.

I'm in awe of the engineering of this car, which was painstakingly constructed with the expert guidance of Race Car Replicas.

It's registered and titled in South Carolina as a 1965 RCR40.
