If driving
machines boasting the Shelby marque command your attention, this
book is for you! Put simply, if there's something you'd like
to know about the cars that carry Shelby's name and you can't
find it in The Registry, then you probably don't need to know
it.
The Registry
is massive (at over six pounds), it's magnificently hardbound,
and encompasses over 1,300 pages bristling with photographs,
illustrations and exhaustive details about all those cars that
bear Shelby's name. I've referred to it dozens of times just
in the past few weeks, to locate answers to questions from Shelby
enthusiasts... and it's hasn't failed me yet! This book is a
masterstroke, a sterling tribute to the research skills, the
drive and the dedication of SAAC's Rick Kopec, who devoted years
of research and effort to bring it to fruition.
If you're a
diehard Shelby aficionado, get this book. If you're a friend
of a Shelby aficionado, you need look no further to present him
(or her) with this Shelby gift of gifts. Even at $125, it's a
rip-snorting bargain.
