tribute to her late husband Jack Kube
A man who
has a passion for his work and his craft is a man who loves life
itself.
The Cobra replica
industry, the world and I all lost just such a man in 2011. Long-time
enthusiast, John (Jack) Kube passed away on Saturday, July 9th,
2011 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Jack was the
founder, owner and President of North American Fiberglass
in Tempe, Arizona. He sold the company, but still consulted on
the business to ASPP, Inc., and lastly, recovered the
business again, simply calling it NAF. He produced many
fine replicars over the years and had a loyal customer base,
with many customers making multiple purchases and becoming close
friends. He produced several Cobra modelsthe 289 'slabside,'
289FIA, and 427SC, as well as a GT40 Mark I and Mark II
Pontiac Fierobased kit, made "the Shrike"
(a gullwing car of his own design), and as precisely correct
a Cobra Daytona Coupe replica as you're likely to encounter
anywhere.

Jack
loved working and went to great lengths to produce quality products
that captured the beauty of those legendary race cars that he
loved so much. Having been in soaring, skydiving, racing, fiberglass
and the replicar industry for so long, he had accumulated wealth
of knowledge and talent and could talk (those of you who personally
knew Jack will agree he could really talk!) of those topics for
hours on end. He was always ready to share his experience with
anyone needing advice on the "how to's". He often commented
that he was in the business of making other people's dreams come
true through the building of his cars.

Rest in
Peace Jack...your work here is done... well done!
