This is (the late doctor) Jim Goodman's West Coast Cobra, outfitted just as it was when it was showcased in the May 1998 issue of Car Collector Magazine in Curt Scott's landmark cover-story feature "The Cobra Phenomenon," which introduced thousands of car enthusiasts to the legend of the Shelby Cobra. That same article was re-introduced (with the gracious permission of Car Collector Magazine) in the 3rd Edition of "The Complete Guide to Cobra Replicas," so this silver serpent has been seen and admired by many thousands of Cobra enthusiasts.

This satellite shot is at your left is hotlinked (the link introduces you to the first several paragraphs of that "Cobra Phenomenon" article.

The car you see is still the same rich Stuttgart Silver color; the bluish tint you see in some of the photos is a result of its being shot in the shade instead of the late-afternoon California sun!

It has always been garaged and well-maintained, and is in superb condition.

Here are more details of this muscular drivin' machine:

29 March 2012: You can mark our glistening silver metallic West Coast Cobra SOLD! Headed for Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada! Your site's photography tips really served us well... the buyer purchased our car sight-unseen (except for our photos)! And he'll discover that it looks even better in person than in our photos. Also, the fact that it is "Canada qualified" was also a top selling point. Indeed, I had several other inquiries from Canada, so the Canadians are really looking at your website, and looking for Cobras. We can attest to your site's 'global reach' (at least 'northern reach') and its effectiveness in reaching Cobra enthusiasts! Thanks again! Darlene and Barry Goodman
