This beautiful Backdraft Racing Roadster, chassis#153, is finished in "Absolute Red" with white stripes. It is just as much at home being admired by the crowds at carshows and cruise-ins as it is in taking on the winding roads of upstate South Carolina and the highlands of North Carolina. Professionally built in 2005 by California Cobra, this car is powered by a 418 cid (Ford Windsor) small-block V8 and mated to a Tremec T-5 transmission. This beast is destined to provide many miles of "wind in your hair" driving adventures.

Titled in The Palmetto State (South Carolina) as a 1964 Ford Cobra.

Backdraft Roadsters are slightly wider and longer than the original 427SC, but are elegantly proportioned so the extra dimensions are not noticeable until you get into the car and can appreciate the extra room... especially the extra legroom. 10 April 2017: You can mark my 'Absolute Red' Backdraft Cobra SOLD! It's on its way to the Port of Charleston to cross over the pond (to Great Britain). It's going to a fine gentleman whose lifetime goal has been to own and drive a Cobra!
