After dreaming about owning and driving a Cobra for years and after doing extensive research on the various manufacturers, I concluded that the Superformance brand was one of the very best "factory-manufactured" Cobras. These serpents are assembled and painted at the Superformance factory by experts who have produced over 2,500 MkIIIs. This consistent approach to manufacturing and attention-to-detail results in proven world-class performance and with fit & finish second to none.

Carroll Shelby himself recognizes Superformance as today's preeminent Cobra manufacturer. In fact, Superformance Cobras are the only Cobra replicas manufactured today that are officially licensed by Shelby.

My [Guardsman Blue/Wimbledon White stripes/SPO#2837] Superformance serpent was completed and delivered in October of 2008. I purchased this sleek beauty brand-new and have invested approximately $80,000 in its build. It has never been tracked. One driver, non-smoker, and it's been properly maintained and garaged (with a car cover) from Day One. Less than 1,500 miles [±2,400 kilometers]. Its power, handling and breathtaking performance delivers excitement beyond all expectations.

Here are more details about this rip-snorting roadway reptile:

In the brief span of time since I took delivery and under 1,500 miles of cruising, the smile on my face keeps getting bigger and bigger. The roar of the exhaust in my ears and the wind in my face relieves all my cares built up since the last time I fired up this machine. The authenticity and the attention to detail is amazing. The finish is just as stated in Superformance's literature—show quality and truly breathtaking. It's a no-compromise handcrafted piece-of-rolling-art that's wicked fast and elicits 'thumbs-up!' admiring attention wherever it goes.
