Factory Five Racing 427 Cobra replica. Professionally-built (with all new parts). Engine was swapped at 2,200 miles, replaced with a Keith Craft performance 408 'stroker.' Always garage-kept in climate controlled environment. This is a spirited and nimble-handling reptile in every respect. Eight ball "mirror" black paint finish with extra clear oat for brain-dazzling high gloss and shine.

This Keith Craft engine is extremely powerful and is a blast to drive. New upgrades—aluminum racing radiator with AN fitting for NASCAR coolant system and two front (pusher) electric fans. This engine does not overheat or have any fluid leaks. This engine has logged only 2,000 miles; I have all the specs and can answer all your questions about it.

Geartrain

The power of this engine is applied to the rear rubber by way of:

  • Centerforce clutch and flywheel
  • Tremec TKO-600 with reverse
  • Ford 8.8" T-Superbird rear end with Factory Five IRS (independent rear suspension) package; the chassis has front & rear mono-tubular control arms.
  • 650-horsepower–rated half-shafts from the Drive Shaft Shop (only 200 miles on them)

The dashboard is completed with vintage gauges that are independently wired with heavy duty aircraft wires; each wire has its own dedicated fuse/relay (never experienced any electrical problem). If for some reason one wire goes out, you won't lose your entire panel.

  • The chassis consists of 4" mono-tubular, 0.120" wall thickness, jig-welded frame. The entire frame is rust-preventive-coated, enhancing its appearance and protecting it from the environment and ensuring a long life.

Properly titled as a 1965 Factory Five Racing roadster, in accordance with The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. This means (in most states) you can run a 1965 plate with no concern about emissions.

Receipts: I possess all the receipts and can answer any questions you may have. This black serpent is breathtaking. I go to a lot of carshows and always get inundated with compliments on how sleek and period-correct it is.

This serpent has been driven only 4,600 pampered miles.
It has never been raced or otherwise abused.
