The owner was snake-bit many years ago. After a visit to the Shelby facility in Las Vegas, he knew he had to possess one. The desire to have the most authentic car possible coupled with a quest for power resulted in one of the finest specimens of a Shelby serpent on the road today. The work and craftsmanship put into the aluminum body in order to achieve perfection is typical of every exquisite detail in this creation. The seemingly unending build with its many changes and improvements was worth the investment in both time and money. The owner displays his speeding tickets like a proud parent.

  • Shelby aluminum-block 427 stroked to 482 cid [dyno'd at 685 hp/613 ft.lbs. torque], custom built by renowned Kroyer Racing Engines of Las Vegas. Over $50,000 was invested into this powerplant alone.

From the multitude of folks following the Cobra universe on CobraCountry was a splendid fellow who was looking for our Black Cherry specimen. His phone call came less than 90 minutes after our Prestige Page ad went live on CobraCountry. A few weeks of back & forth and CSX4273 has a new proud owner in Switzerland. The weeks of painstaking work and Curt's boundless patience with my rudimentary photography skills really coalesced to present this car in all its glory.
