E.R.A. 427SC
—SOLD!—

Broadside shot above is hotlinked (same view, much larger size).

This beautiful specimen from the iconic builder ERA features the latest body updates and mechanical upgrades. This is not my first Cobra and it won't be the last. For this one, I wanted a driving machine that would be authentic in appearance, performance and spirit of Shelby's landmark musclecar, the 427SC Cobra. My passion for authenticity led me to ERA, New Britain, Connecticut. With well over three decades of experience, the dedicated craftsmen in ERA's shops have refined the art of building Cobras to near perfection.

Built in 2010, she has accumulated only 1,200 miles, and all the minor quirks worked out. This reptile was built to be fast, reliable and as similar as possible to the original CSX3004 in color and performance. The deep maroon paintwork is stunning.

With its period-correct features and appearance, as well as the antique license plate, even ardent and knowledgeable Cobraphiles step up and inspect it closely.

Below are more details about this magnificent reptile:

This is a faithful reproduction the most iconic car of the musclecar age. It has been garaged since it was brand-new. It has never been raced, driven in inclement weather or otherwise abused.

Driving it on the byways and country roads of upstate New York and the Hudson River Valley (especially in this state's spectacular autumn season!) has been an exhilarating experience like nothing else. Moreover, it's almost as much fun to watch other people watch you pass by as it is to drive the car. Admiring fellow motorists from every generation wave and give you the thumbs up. You'll make friends at every stop along the way.
