Jack Roush says "In the history of hot rods and muscle cars, the numbers 427 brings back plenty of 'magic memories.' Back then the "side-oiler" was 'king.' Today, we have the option to build to this memorable cubic inch displacement and still have all the benefits of the "Windsor Engine." The 427R is our thoroughbred and has a single-plane intake manifold and a "double-pumper" carburetor. Maximum horsepower, maximum fun."
