Before we purchased this Everett-Morrison Cobra, my son and I researched the Cobra market painstakingly. We visited every Cobra website we could find, and personally visited several of the the manufacturers' production facilities.

We winnowed our search down to two fine contenders: ERA Replicars and Everett-Morrison Motorcars. We finally settled upon the Everett-Morrison reptile for a host of reasons, but especially for its exquisite, well-engineered, stainless-steel round-tube frame and similarly exquisite chassis components.

  • Genesis 427FE side-oiler cast-iron/crinkle powder-coated block (bored/stroked to 468 cid; 4.250" bore; 4.125" stroke)
  • block machined by Roush; the Genesis block is designed with the same oil channels and the three external main bolts that distinguish the side-oiler from the center-oiler 427 engines)

COCKPIT

Auto Meter mechanical instrument gauges, premium leather upholstery including dash, seats, and door interior panels, GM-style adjustable steering column with integrated flasher, signals and horn. You also get a full (soft) top and side curtains.

This cockpit sports a few premium embellishments: the support bars extending from the dash to the center console seen on the original cars were added, but in stainless steel to add a bit of bling. An original-style ash tray was also addednot for ashes but for loose change or similar items. The seats are adjustable for forward and rearward travel. The interior is fully carpeted with thick backing. Vents, which you can open and close as well as a heater/defroster complete the interior package.
