V8 is outfitted with low-riser heads, Offy intake,
Crower mechanical cam, dual Edelbrock carburetors,
and much more. The motor is tamed for cruising through
the use of a highly modified C-6 transmission. The elimination
of the need for a clutch pedal along with the large Contemporary
footbox provides ample kneeroom for the taller driver
(see photos). In addition to Contemporary's legendary
undercarriage and Jaguar XKE rear suspension, the
interior features original English Connolly Leather
upholstery and Wilton Wool carpeting, correct badging
and period-correct instrumentation. This beauty was first
titled in California in 1990 and has been garaged in Colorado
for 20 years.
