It was

serious buyers. Further

I appreciate Curt's

This

only the first 3 sales last season fell through due to a string of
fluke derailments having nothing to do with the car.
But it was scooped
up w/o a hitch within only a couple of weeks after I started up my

You

Kathy and I not
only connected with a true Cobra aficionado (who flew here to see

promised to do the same in the Swiss and Italian Alps.
All the while
we had another serious buyer waiting in the wings in Texas; we had
to let him know that the next stop for our gray ghost is way up in
the Swiss Alps.
Many thanks to

Shipper picked
up today (5 days after my ad went up). Great buyer in sunny California

I've been flooded
with calls all week. I had two backup offers and both buyers were
extremely disappointed that they missed out. Everyone complimented
me on how gorgeous my car is!! Curt's photo tips and his follow-up
assistance sold the car as much as the car itself did.
A huge THANK-YOU!!
I quote the buyer: "It's evident from the effort you put into
your photos that the car must be in great condition."
My advice to
Cobra sellers is to follow your photo tips without exception... preferably
with a good camera. Bottom line, as you know all the writing in the
world is worthless without great photos.
ONCE AGAIN A
HUGE, HUGE THANK YOU!!! Not only for selling my Cobra but the whole
process of coaching me on my photos. I don't know what it is a about
Cobra guys but I never met a bad one.
You

It sold

about 12-15 inquiries from all over, at least 4 or 5 of which were
serious [including one from France!].
But the lucky new owner [who actually first contacted me shortly after

Dear Cobra Country:
You
can mark our Guards Red Midstates Cobra SOLD! In less than
four weeks on CobraCountry, and to a fellow Cobra enthusiast only
about 15 miles down the road!
He's excited
and so are we. Now we can still see it driving down the road and he

Many thanks

You
can mark my Titanium Superformance MkIII Cobra SOLD! Gone not
too far away (to Fresno, in California's San Joaquin Valley) to a
happy new owner!
In
the less than four weeks my car was on Cobra Country, I received about
12 or 14 serious inquiries, including one from Japan and another from
Germany, and I had at least another California buyer ready to bring
his trailer up if my sale didn't go through.
Many thanksyour
site and (especially) your camera and photography tips really made
the job of selling quite easy!
Thanks again!

The buyer
contacted me only a week after my Prestige Showcase page went
up!
It's headed
all the way to the top/left corner of the nation, northwest of Seattle!
I got responses from all over the country, from local (within 3 miles
of my house) to Phoenix, to Seattle, and even from Germany and Switzerland!
The new owner
marveled over how good my photos are and how well they represented
my black mamba; for that I grant special credit to your site's photography
tips.
Color me a happy

You

Car officially
sold, (with deposit), in only 6 days and is headed to Missouri!
Your website has
a very large fan base of serious buyers; I received several emails and
phone call inquiries. Following your photography guidelines was instrumental
in the sale of my Cobra. It is true what you said about phoning you
first and following your Cobra Photography Tips booklet, before
you shoot your pictures.
I advise anyone
selling a Cobra: follow those guidelines and you will have success.
I now have to send emails to the other inquiring customers that my Cobra
is already off the market!
Color me a very
satisfied customer of Cobra Country!

Here
it is, folks: the

Picked
up only 13 days before at Kirkham's facility in Provo, Utah,

many bullion bars were required for the 0.125 mil gold sheet
that was used to create this glistening beauty. But there's a whole
lotta bullion goin' on here.

my ad went up). Great buyer in sunny California bought site-unseen based
only on my photos. This is the second Cobra that I've sold (for all practical
purposes within 24 hrs.) on Cobra Country. I've been flooded with
calls all week. I had two backup offers and both buyers were extremely
disappointed that they missed out. Everyone complimented me on how gorgeous
my car is!! Curt's photo tips and his follow-up assistance sold the car
as much as the car itself did. A huge THANK-YOU!! I quote the buyer: "It's
evident from the effort you put into your photos that the car must be
in great condition." My advice to Cobra sellers is to follow
your photo tips without exception... preferably with a good camera.
Bottom line, as you know all the writing in the world is worthless without
great photos. ONCE AGAIN A HUGE, HUGE THANK YOU!!! Not only for selling
my Cobra but the whole process of coaching me on my photos. I don't know
what it is a about Cobra guys but I never met a bad one. Pat Fultz

22 October/January 3 January 2013: You
can mark my conspicuously gorgeous red E.R.A. Cobra
SOLD! Gone to a worthy and discerning new owner in Delaware!
I got responses from all over, from here in New Jersey all the way
to Texas! Let me say this: I followed your site's
detailed "Cobra Photography Tips" to the letter;
as a result I got lots of comments on how beautiful my Cobra isand
among them was the buyer who scooped it up. I had also posted it on
eBay and on a 'free posting' club site, and I got no response
at all other than a bunch of tire-kickers. CobraCountry is the only
place to go if you're a serious Cobra seller... or buyer.

Cobra SOLD! Gone (as a wedding
present) to a wonderful bride & groom
in northern Virginia! First thing I would
like to say is thanks personally to Curt
Scott of Cobra Country. Curt is reason
my car sold at the price it did, when
it did, to the young bride-to-be it did.
Curt called me up
after I sent him my first round of photos
and gently informed me "We have
to talk." I becamewith
Curt's guidancean expert at
photographing Cobras. Curt's Cobra photography
tips could make a professional photographer
out of a blind man. His pointers are quite
straightforward, and above all impart
the proper methods to shoot these cars.
My Cobra was selected and purchased entirely
because my second round of photos really
captured its beauty. The sale went
flawlessly. From the first contact with
Cobra Country, the photography lesson,
the buyers' inquiries and every other
aspect of this sale was not only professional,
it was a joy. My car went for the price
I wanted to some absolutely wonderful,
appreciative people. All of the guidance
I encountered from Cobra Country was expert
and spot-on for marketing and selling
a high-priced motorcar over the internet.
I cannot recommend Cobra Country more
highly. I was even invited to the wedding,
as was Curt. Now that's how you market
and sell and buy a car. See ya' in Gettysburg,
Curt. Doc Fallon

You
may think that all you need to know to take good photos of your
Cobra is 1) how to turn on your camera, 2) how to
aim it in the general direction of your serpent, and 3) how
to press the shutter.
Think again.
That's the time-tested formula
for capturing crappy snapshots that'll prompt all your potential
buyers to flee screaming into the wilderness.
And justifiably so.
Photojournalist Curt Scott's
latest revision has been carefully reworked just for you! It's
a priceless investment of your time... a 'how-to manual' to very
quickly enable you to capture professional-caliber photos of your
Cobra or GT40.
Print it out, read it
and heed it! And use the 7 'checklist' pages as you're snapping
your shutter to make sure you take advantage of every expert tip.

Firefox
browser Update (23 August 2007): We had several folks report to us
that certain versions of the Mozilla Firefox web browser
do some strange things on CobraCountry. Specifically, images (such
as the Cobra photos on this page) replace CobraCountry's main window/
frameset, instead of opening in a new window as our code mandates;
when you close the photo, CobraCountry of course goes "poof!"
and disappears. We received this 'fix' from
Cobra aficionado Marty Shorey, of Milton Florida: "About
the Firefox issue; I use Firefox with Mac and don't
have a problem. You can set Firefox's preferences under "tabs"
to "new page open in new tab" (or to "in a new window"); FF's new
default is "in a new tab." Then when you're done drooling over the
photograph, just close the picture "tab" and the browser reverts back
to the tab that had CobraCountry open. It works easy for me. It's
all about tabs, tabs, tabs."Curt's closing comments:
you can of course set FF to open "in a new window," which I prefer,
since I continually forget about "tabs" and close Firefox's
entire window, expecting to be closing only the photographonly
to have CobraCountry go 'poof!'. Whatever your own preference,
thank you, Marty, for resolving this dilemma.
