I also advised a fine fellow from Italy to consider one of the two blue Kirkhams on CobraCountry. He had his heart set on my beautiful Kirkham, but I had to go with the fellow who sent me the full purchase price—sight unseen!
I did advise Franco (in Italy) to promptly wire the seller a deposit when he sees the Kirkham he likes.

The deal is now officially done. I had received a deposit almost two weeks ago, but the buyer was awaiting an inspection when I returned from vacation this week.
I was delighted with the response I got from CobraCountry. About 20+ respondents in the first 2 two weeks and about 6 were very serious inquiries. Had I not been a man of my word on the first fellow who put down his deposit, there were at least three more fellows champing at the bit to fly or drive here to meet or beat his offer!
Color me ‘Very Happy’ with my CobraCountry results!!

It has actually been sold for awhile, but I was in Russia for a few weeks and couldn't arrange delivery until now.
The new owner lives in Madison—60 miles away—but was at his cottage 15 miles from my home when he stumbled upon my ad. He couldn't believe his good fortune to find the car he wanted so nearby, but we never would have made the connection without Cobra Country.
I received numerous inquiries from all over the country and as far away as Germany. I've enjoyed corresponding with many knowledgeable and interested Cobra fans who frequent Cobra Country.

Here's a Cobra Country testimonial to top all others! Only an hour after the ad went live on Cobra Country Lee received an email from an interested party. The man resides only 6 miles from Lee's house in Flagler Beach.
If this weren’t enough, when he arrived to look over the car it turned out that Lee knows the man… he lives across the street from Lee's in-laws' house in Flagler Beach!
They shook hands on the deal. No down payment. The car is being picked up today. Less than 24 hrs to conclude the sale!

I didn't even know my ad was already up and running before I received my first call; the fellow came by that afternoon (the new owner resides only about 60 miles north of me), bought my Cobra and drove it home!
If you have a Cobra (or any other car) to sell, then I counsel you to read and carefully heed Curt's Motorcar Photography Tips! Our good friend Cheryl Croston—who has a good digital camera—read Curt's photography tips and took the photos for us, carefully following Curt's guidelines.
Curt told her that her photos were awesome, and that we could expect a prompt sale!
I guess 1/2 day from posting to sale represents a prompt sale.
