GT40 series. Superformance offers an authentic continuation collectible
that is registry eligible and carries a continuation series GT40 number.
In developing the GT40, engineers went to great lengths to ensure authenticity.
More than 90% of the parts are interchangeable with the original car including
the "monocoque"-style chassis. The GT40 also boasts of a pressed steel
roof and beautifully finished body. The GT40 is build to accommodate a
big- or small-block engine with a ZF/RBT transaxle, although, as with
all Superformance products the GT40 will be supplied without an engine
and transaxle.
The GT40 is a true
legend in looks and performance. A street and track vehicle built around
the original race car designs, configurations and dimensions just adding
modern safety upgrades. Add the legend of Le Mans to your driveway!!!

• Pressed-steel roof.
• Suspension as original.
• Paint: basecoat clearcoat in a variety of colors.
• Left hand drive.
• Shifter & Handbrake: located in center of tunnel.
• Tunnel offset as original but to the right hand side.
• Seats: original style with silver rivets.
• Air conditioning: high-capacity unit included.
• Brakes: Wilwood 'Super Light.'
• Pedal box: adjustable. •
• Steering assembly: as original—wheel removable.
• Door latches & Catches: original-style “Hartswell.”
• Windows: front glass, Lexan side windows with vents.
• Radiator: crossflow.
• Exhausts: original-style “bundle of snakes.”
