Once you take a seat behind the wheel, you’ll start to appreciate the small details that make your driving experience even better than when this serpent was built. As only one example, the switch panel beneath the dash discreetly holds the seat heater controls as well as a double USB charge port.
Depress the clutch and you’ll feel the light pedal effort, thanks to Mike Forte’s pedal effort reducer. Twist the key and listen to the engine roar to life through the AFR ‘165’ heads and SS (stainless steel) sidepipes. Those premium AFR heads and the Comp Cams ‘Extreme Energy’ camshaft will have your heart pounding even before you engage the clutch.
Place your hand on the shifter and you’ll encounter a comfortable position for many hours of driving. The fact that there’s an MGW shifter beneath the shift boot means you’ll get sure shifts and never miss the 2–3 upshift during your spirited driving.
Smooth throttle input is ensured via the ‘Mike Forte Throttle Linkage’ kit. The Ram clutch, billet flywheel, and Ford Racing ring & pinion means the power will get to where you need it to be—to the brand-new Mickey Thompson ‘Sportsman S/T’ tires… where the rubber meets the road.
