FoMoCo 390FE big-block bored 0.30” thousand over to 4.080, Comp Cams camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum heads, ‘Performer RPM’ intake, 750 cfm Holley carburetor. MoCal oil cooler and MSD ignition system. Fluidyne aluminum radiator. Ribbed aluminum Cobra LeMans valve covers. New fuel system, including high-performance Magna fuel pump, regulator, all new fuel lines, gauges and filters. High performance Fluidyne fan plus original style pusher fans. Original Girling fluid reservoirs.
Rugged Ford ‘toploader’ 4-speed gearbox fitted with short-throw shifter; fully independent (Salisbury-style) Jag IRS w/posi.
This reptile’s cockpit is Legend-correct to the proverbial 9s: Moto-Lita hardwood-rimmed wheel. Supple leather-upholstered seats and dash, full cockpit carpet. Smiths Instruments blackfaced gauges with (correct) reverse-winding speedometer & fuel level gauge. 5-point harnesses, dual 6V Optima gel batteries behind passenger seat, fire extinguisher, Trunk is all aluminum-lined with fuel pump and regulator in the trunk. Visor was personally autographed by Carroll Shelby with a white-paint pen.
