If you’re searching for a period-correct, authentic Shelby CSX serpent with an “off the showroom floor” appearance and a no-nonsense “menace of the motorways” persona, you need scour the planet no further. CSX6120, this iconic and quintessential “serpentine drivin’ machine,” was professionally finished in late 2015 by Shelby Dealer Mitch Hughes of SC Motorsports. The coachwork is robust and “glass smooth” [and reinforced at stress points] expertly handlaid fiberglass.

It has logged 3,000 miles [4,800 km] and has consistently been garage-kept and pampered.

Recent service has been performed by industry-respected Tom Lucas of FE Specialties in Auburn (Placer County), California.

CSX6120 is formidable… a torque monster powered by a Keith Craft–built 482 cid all-aluminum FE side-oiler with Edelbrock Stage 3 aluminum heads. She dynos 600 hp and a cosmic 615 ft./lbs of torque. The turkey pan houses a Holley LeMans carb crowning a Sidewinder intake to top off its period-correct muscle and persona.
