You are gazing at a premium specimen of a genuine Continuation Series Shelby American 427S/C Cobra, chassis# CSX6128. It was built (and livery-tweaked) to replicate Carroll’s own #98 drivin’ machine.

This dazzling Guardsman Blue Shelby Cobra also has an all-aluminum 427FE powerplant from Shelby American. It delivers a sensational 550 hp and 580 ft. lbs. torque. Ample power and torque to propel this road rocket to the next atmosphere… carefully engineered to blast past the chequered flag. It includes the Shelby Series custom instrument gauges, Baer brakes from Shelby, original-style engine accents, and brand-new Avon high-performance radial rubber.

This take-no-prisoners serpent has been well taken care of and is in magnificent condition. It has logged only 3,800 miles [6,100 km]. All maintenance and recent service has been performed by the roundly respected dealer, Radical Roadsters of Texas.

His goal in every photo session is to capture that serpent just as you would see it in person… i.e., color correct, sharply focused, with extra care directed to capturing the engine and cockpit. That's a lofty goalpost, but vital to aim for when one realizes that a prospective purchaser of an iconic road rocket such as a Cobra is only rarely local, but rather far, far away.
