Under the blue bonnet: Windsor small-block 351 cid V8 stroked to 427, delivers 580 thundering horsepower and 590 torque at flywheel, 405 horsepower and 439 torque at rear wheel.

It’s outfitted with: Holley ‘Street Avenger’ 670 cfm carburetor, housed in a turkey pan with a Stelling & Hellings air cleaner, tall valve covers powder-coated blue to match car.

Gearbox: Rugged Tremec TKO-600 5-speed gearbox.
