An automotive writer once characterized Shelby’s 427SC Cobra as “The megastar of musclecars.” This blue beauty fits that description.

That’s scenic Lake Isabella above—a big blue expanse of pure water on the (white water) Kern River—in the background. A terrific snake perched above a terrific lake… Lake Isabella supplies most of the municipal water for sprawling Bakersfield, about 40 miles [64 km] downstream.

Single owner since new. 10,000 miles [16,000 km] in 20 years. Rich PPG ‘Glasurit’ paint finish and clearcoat.

Always garaged and covered. Pampered. Purchased new, directly from Lance and Deborah Stander at Superformance.

Serious inquiries only, please!

All these sharply-focused photos of my Cobra you see above were shot by CobraCountry’s veteran staff photographer Ben Verleger. Ben motored all the way up from Los Angeles to photograph my car at my hillside residence near Kernville in the high Sierras and which overlooks the azure blue Lake Isabella. Robb Allen Cobra gold divider bar Dear Curt: Friday, 23 April, 2021: You can mark my Guardsman Blue Superformance serpent (SPO0813) SOLD. And it collared a buyer less than 12 hours after it was posted on your site. It went up at about (I think) 10 o'clock Thursday evening, and I got the first call from my buyer at about 9 o'clock Friday morning. By about noon we had worked out the particulars for my blue beauty to be picked up. In the meantime I also received other inquiries from interested buyers (including one from France!), which of course I had to turn away. You can color me Lake Isabella's #1 happy camper! Happy buyer, too. Robb Allen
