That powerplant you see above is a fully polished Roush 427R (Dart block), upgraded with a matched complement of Roush Shelby valve covers and air filter, MSD ignition, a Holley 870 cfm carburetor, SS braided hoses, polished Edelbrock “Performer RPM” manifold and aluminium heads.
No original Shelby thundermaker ever looked so good under the hood.
All of the multi G-force… 550hp/520 ft.lbs. … of horses and torque are delivered through a steel Quicktime safety bellhousing, a rugged Tremec 5-speed TKO500 gearbox and limited-slip IRS.
