This serpentine street machine was manufactured by West Coast Cobra in 2013. It’s finished in rich Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White LeMans stripes and accompanying trim stripes.

Its heritage and progenitor is the Kellison ‘Stallion.’ Jim Kellison’s Stallion was (is) 6” longer and 4” wider than the original Shelby reptile, for a more spacious cockpit, better stability, more-rigid chassis and a safer ride.

The engine is set about 5” further aft, which gives the car improved balance and better handling characteristics.

  • Ford 460 cid big-block V8 [bored & stroked to 521 cid; with a resulting 9.8:1 compression ratio; thus it thrives on premium pump fuel]
  • Super Cobra Jet high-flow heads
  • Edelbrock ‘Torker II’ single-plane intake (port-matched)
  • FiTech 600 EFI throttle body with fuel return line
  • Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam and lifters (you get the cam sheet)
  • MSD ‘Pro Billet’ distributer and MSD 6AL ignition [timing control through the FiTech EFI module]
  • Cobra oval air breather with premium K&N filter

Cooling:

  • oversized, advance-engineered cooling system
  • dual 2200 cfm Derale Performance electric puller fans [primary fan controlled by EFI module], fully and effectively shrouded
  • cooling pressure tank plumbed with overflow and automatic air-bleed “burp” piping

Custom polished water pump overdrive pulley; cooling system is designed and driven in 112° F [44° C] ambient temperature and city traffic without overheating. It could go even higher should you encounter the need.

  • robust handlaid fiberglass body with over 200 attachment points. It’s painted with 2-part Ford 1964-1/2 urethane Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White LeMans longitudinal stripes, accompanying trim stripes and clearcoat. Paint codes are documented. Body and bonnet are 100% undercoated.
